Kofi Tonto is a results-driven business and data analyst as well as a technology strategist who specializes in translating complex business challenges into productive yet scalable technology solutions.
With 17 years of professional experience spanning government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors, Kofi has developed a unique expertise in strategic business analysis, data analysis, organizational transformation, and technology-enabled business endeavours.
Currently serving as lead business analyst and chief technology officer for Kairos Express Shipping, Kofi coordinates strategic tech-based projects and cross-functional efforts; supervising and implementing cutting-edge software particularly tracking applications for the company.
In this role, Kofi ensures seamless alignment between business requirements and technical capabilities, enabling Kairos Express to deliver superior logistics solutions and maintain competitive advantage in the shipping industry among its peers.
Throughout his career, Kofi has held strategic positions of increasing responsibility serving as a Political Assistant and Deputy Spokesperson to the former Vice President of Ghana. He also held a diplomatic role as the Head of Information & Public Affairs at the Embassy of Ghana in Washington D.C.
As Founder and Executive Director of African Youth Excellence, Kofi led organizational development, strategic planning, and board governance for a nonprofit focused on youth development from 2012 to 2016.
Kofi honed his data-driven analytics at Hanover Insurance Company where Kofi built business intelligence platforms and delivered workforce analytics that enabled enterprise leadership to make data-informed decisions on talent strategy and organizational planning. His analytical work directly supported strategic workforce planning and business optimization initiatives.
Kofi has also worked for the Department of Youth Services as a Senior Systems Analyst, a Member Service Representative at Digital Federal Credit Union and a Loan Officer at Protocol Communications, all in the state of Massachusetts.
As Director of Marketing and Business Development for Yaanom Multimedia, Kofi drove business growth through strategic partnerships, market expansion, and innovative business development initiatives for small businesses and start-ups in Massachusetts.
Kofi's technical expertise includes advanced proficiency in business intelligence platforms (Oracle BI, Power BI), data analysis and visualization, database management (Microsoft SQL Server), and enterprise systems (HR Payroll Systems, SuccessFactors, Learning Management Systems). His technical expertise serves as a strategic enabler, allowing him to bridge the communication gap between business stakeholders and technology teams.
